Seni 2002

The dates for this exceptional event are 27th/28th April 2002 and opening times are 9am-5pm each day. Build up is on the Friday 26th and breakdown is on Sunday evening. The information detailed below should provide a basic overview of the event structure, which can be utilized by any parties / organizations interested in involvement in "THE POWER ZONE" as a working platform.

Concept

The British Armwrestling Federation will again combine their exhibition stand with an interactive tournament area "THE POWER ZONE", that would host a unique championship with top class competitors from either around the UK or World. This area will also be used for crowd interaction and arm wrestling instruction. The name of the tournament will be up to the Federation, and may take on a sponsors name perhaps.

The initial tournament rounds would take place on the Saturday / coupled with a Novice/general public event. The Action on Sunday will be in the form of a professional Main Draw Event and/or further Pro Supermatches.

Seni

The Combat Sports Show is a consumer event that is attend by 20,000 plus visitors and holds exhibitors from suppliers, governing bodies,
associations, services, health & fitness, cultural, lifestyle etc..

It is the largest Combat Sports show of its kind and provides an excellent format for promoting products, forthcoming events, services, networking, business to business etc. Many of the high profiled martial artists, celebs, stunt personel etc use Seni as a way of promoting themselves. We have many interactive areas where the top athletes are spotlighted for visitors and press alike.

Banzai

This is a festival of combat sports that is co-ordinated purely for television purposes. Sky sports are the front runner to screen the show. It will take place on the Saturday evening (27th April) in the NEC Arena which is next door to the halls. The finals of the first days Armwrestling event could well take place in this show.

Media

Pre show we will try to spotlight certain areas of Seni particularly the "POWER ZONE" and the Pro Armwrestling tournament. SENI through the efforts of PSM and the BAF will generate a lot of trade press (combat sports) and a reasonable amount of lifestyle and sports attention. Various broadcast companies televise Seni.

Sponsors

Premier Sports Management are seeking contra sponsors for the show at this time. The British Arm wrestling Federation are also seeking additional sponsors for the "POWER ZONE" to be promoted along side Blackburn based sports nutrition company Science in Sport Ltd.(see link) whom are again sponsoring the World Class Armwrestling Supermatches.

The obvious benefits to a sponsor are the large amount of

visitors, press and media attention and our own promotion of that
sponsors involvement at Seni. Depending on what their individual input was, they would be able to either share a small stand with the federation / organization of their choice within the Power Zone or have their own promotional area (there are implications with this side) and could brand the tournament area as well.

Please note however, if any features to be utilized by individual sponsors / exhibitors need to be constructed ie. (stage etc) then we would expect the sponsor themselves to undertake this requirement.
